Chat is not open yet. Until it is, the Anees app has our phone numbers under the Anees tile on the home screen — tap it and choose the number for your country.
Questions we hear most
What does Anees actually watch for?
A small radar sensor on the wall notices when a person is on the floor and not moving. It does not use a camera and records no pictures or sound. It cannot see who somebody is — only where a person-sized shape is and whether it is up or down.
What happens when a fall is detected?
First, the phone of the person being cared for asks them directly: are you OK? If they answer that they are fine, nothing else happens. If they ask for help, or thirty seconds pass with no answer, every caregiver linked to them is alerted. If the sensor later sees the person get up, the caregivers are told that too — with a note to check on them, because standing up does not mean unhurt.
The alert said "no answer" — but they are fine. Why?
The sensor cannot tell the difference between a person lying on the floor and a person sitting on floor cushions or a very low sofa. If the sensor is watching such a spot, or is set to see further than the room, it may raise a fall that is not one. Tell us the room's layout and we will adjust the sensor's range and sensitivity remotely — no visit needed.
Why did the person being cared for not get the "are you OK?" question?
Their phone has to be signed in to the Anees app and allowed to show notifications. Open the app on their phone once, accept the notification permission if asked, and it will register itself. If it still does not ask, tell us and we can check whether their phone is registered from our side.
The app says the sensors are quiet or unreachable.
The sensor talks to us over the home's Wi-Fi. If the router was restarted or the Wi-Fi password changed, the sensor needs to be reconnected. If the Wi-Fi is fine and the sensor light is on, the fault may be on our side — tell us the time it started and we will look at the sensor's own record.
How do I add a family member so they get alerts too?
In the caregiver app, choose Add a loved one and enter the Anees ID printed on the card that came with the sensor — the person being cared for can also show it from their own app. They will be asked to approve you, and they can see who is linked to them at any time.
Who can see the data?
The person being cared for, the caregivers they have approved, and — only when something needs fixing — Anees support staff, who see the sensor's status and the alert history but never a password. Nobody at Anees knows anyone's password; the app never asks us for it and we cannot set or reset it.
How do I reach a person?
Use Chat with support above, or in either Anees app tap the Anees tile on the home screen to see our phone numbers for each country.
